When I was writing my piece for Vogue on self-care culture and spas earlier this year, Eden One was the spa that I had in mind. I visited last year for my birthday with my comrade-in-arms SuHu, and we had a wonderful time with just a few obstacles to get around.

I went again this summer with my sister for her 40th, curious to see if I’d face the same set of problems. The same access problems existed, but the incredible staff put in a greater effort to make up for the lack of basic access facilities within the spa itself.
