It’s a puppy party

When you have a dog, people assume that that’s all you talk about. I try my best to not be that gal, but they’re a great bunch, my two. But before I became a dog owner 10 years ago, I didn’t realise how often other people would stop me on the street to talk about my dogs.

I get the usual questions. What age are they? Do they get on? What mix are they? And there’s one that non-disabled people don’t usually get: They’re your best friends, aren’t they?

I mean, I like them - love them, even - but… c’mon.
