Every time a new venue in Dublin opens up and it doesn’t prioritise access, a part of me gives up on Dublin entirely. There are very few accessible loos in Dublin that I look forward to using (Fallon & Byrne, Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, the Shelbourne, to name some of the finest loos in this fair city), but I am delighted to announce that I have a new favourite, reigning high above the rest.

Located on the corner of Fade Street and George’s Street, O’Regan’s is a freshly opened pub — and hotel, which doesn’t have a lift - boo! Owned by the powerhouse behind Hogan’s, Drury Buildings, The Bar with No Name, and L’Gueleton, Declan O’Regan, this pub leans heavily into old-fashioned comforts with rich wooden floors, dim lighting and rich, green couches that you can sink into for a cosy afternoon.
