I had big plans this week to go to a couple of accessible restaurants and bars just before I saw Kelis perform a special 4th of July gig in the Guinness Storehouse (video evidence below), but Dublin 8 was heaving with people going to this gig and Sylvan Esso in Vicar Street the same night.

It was a Tuesday night so the two very tasty accessible restaurants we had bookmarked for the night - Space Jaru and Bell Pesto - weren’t open. My pals and I then tried Dudley’s and Proof, both accessible/sort of average places, but there wasn’t a table to be got. With nowhere to go and the rain bucketing down, we ended up eating chipper inside the window of Vincenzo’s, and it was delicious.

So the reservation gods scuppered my plans to write an access review this week, so instead I’m going to talk about something far more interesting: the ground.
